View voting items and cast your vote
You can vote to carry, deny, or abstain from a motion brought forward during a live meeting. When a vote is in progress you can view details about the agenda item and the motion, then cast your vote. You have the option to cast your vote online through digital voting. This section describes how to use digital voting to submit your vote and review the voting results.
Note
If your administrator has not enabled digital voting, you will not be able to vote online. Contact your administrator or the Community Support team at 866-877-1172 for assistance.

Open the live meeting agenda. Once the administrator initiates a vote, the Voting in progress dialog appears on your screen.

You can view details about the agenda item and the motion you are voting on.

To cast your vote, select a voting option, such as Aye. A confirmation message appears after you’ve cast your vote.

The voting language that appears is managed by your administrator and can be customized to comply with the regulations or preferences of your assembly.

A green dot at the bottom right of the Live presentation page shows that you are connected.

To close the dialog, select the close icon on the top right.

After all voting members have cast their vote, the Voting results dialog shows the voting results for each type of voting response

View the disposition on the top right of the dialog. When the majority of members vote in favor of the motion, the disposition shows that it was Carried. When the majority of members vote against the motion, the disposition shows that it was Denied.

To close the dialog, select the close icon.
Note
Administrators can initiate multiple votes during a live meeting. So, you can repeat the voting process each time a new motion is brought to a vote.

You can view or hide the voting results while the voting is in progress or after the vote is closed. By default, the Show Voting toggle is enabled on the top right of the page when a voting starts. If you do not wish to see the voting results, select Hide Voting.
