Batch Listing: Transactions

A Batch may contain several Transactions and each can be processed separately.

Each Batch entry will display a Transaction status. The Transaction column displays a total count, by status, of the number of transactions processed within the specified Batch.

Colours are used to indicate the status of each Transaction in the specified Batch:

  • Black: Total Transactions within Batch

  • Green: Pending Transactions

  • Red: Failed Transactions

  • (Black): Total Child Transactions within Batch

Transaction Summary

The Transaction Summary refers to the number of Transactions contained within a Batch. The Transactions are grouped by Status.

Selecting an entry in the Transactions column, the 1 for example, will open a related Transaction Summary window for the specified Batch entry.

In the above example, the specified Transaction entry is: 10/1/6/(4).

The figures indicate that there were eight 10 Transactions in total. Two (1) Transaction is currently pending. Six (6) Transactions have failed and four (4) Transactions were Child Transactions.

Sort Options

Transactions can be sorted within the Summary by Code, Entity, Status or Status/Code. These Sort options can be used to give a line-level summary of the how the Transaction was processed.

by Code sorting option will sort Transactions by the type of Transaction being processed, displaying a total (Count) for each status.

The by Entity sorting option will sort Transactions by Entity.

The by Status sorting option will sort Transactions by Status.

The by Status/Code sorting option will sort Transactions by Status and Code.

Transaction Listing

Opening a selected Batch will display a list of the Transactions contained within it.

The related Folder button against a Transaction listing will open a secondary Transaction Summary screen.

The Transaction ID is unique number assigned to the Transaction that can be used for tracking purposes.

The Transaction Code indicates which data (from the imported file) is being processed.

The Parameter #1 and Parameter #2 fields indicate when records have been updated from one value to another. The original value displays in Parameter #1 and if the value has been updated, the new value will display in the Parameter #2 field.

The Data column indicates the QR or unique field being created.

The Status column reflects the current status of the line item.

CancelPending transactions can be updated to a Cancelled status.

To change all Transactions in the related Batch with a Pending status to a Cancelled status

  • Select Cancel.

To update a single Pending Transaction to a Cancelled Status:

  • Select the Wand button (located in the Status column for the specified entry).

Reset – Transactions with a Cancelled or Failed status can be reset.

To change all Transactions in the related Batch with a Cancelled or Failed status to a Pending status:

  • Select Reset.

Wand Button – Resets a Transaction's status.

  • Selecting the Wand button against a Transaction with a Pending status will update the status to Cancelled.
  • Selecting the Wand button against a Transaction with a Cancelled or Failed status will update the status to Pending.
  • Selecting the Wand button against a Transaction with a Complete Status will update the status to Pending.
