Data Library Types – Asset Lease

The Asset Lease Data Library Type is one frequently used by Financial Departments.

To record Asset Lease information in Diligent Entities:

• Navigate to and open the record for the entity that the information is to be recorded for.
• Select the Data Library icon and then the Finance tab.
• Select Asset Lease from the list of Types available.

The Finance Department - Asset Lease screen displays.

• Select New.

The New: Asset Lease screen displays.

Summary

Type: Ensure that the Asset Lease option is selected.

Status: Select a status for this record (if applicable).

Assigned to: Select the user responsible for updating/verifying/authorising this record (if applicable).

Other Connected Entities

Select the Wand icon to connect this record to any other parties/entities concerned with the lease (for example, a lessor).

Asset Lease

This section contains fields which are specific to the Asset Lease Data Library (for example, Asset Details, Reference Numbers, Asset Date (start and end date), Lease Amount, Interest Rate, Termination Notice, etc.). Complete these fields with the relevant information.

Attachments

Select the Wand icon to upload documents (for example, a lease agreement) to the record.

• Select Save, then Close the record.
