Send documents to Diligent Boards

You can send entity documents from Entities to Diligent Boards and monitor their status in the Boards Status column in the documents list in Working Documents and Document Store.

Prerequisites

Before you can send documents to Boards, you must meet the following prerequisites:

• You need an active Diligent Boards account.

• Your administrator must assign the Integrations > Transfer Documents to Diligent Boards user role right to you in Entities.

Send a document to Diligent Boards

To send a document to Boards, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Working Documents or Document Store and find the document you want to send to Boards.
2. From Documents Menu next to the document, select Send to Boards.
3. Sign in to Boards from Entities:
   1. Select Sign in to Boards in the top-right corner of the Send to Boards dialog.
   2. Enter your Boards username and password, and select Sign in.
   3. In Site name, enter your Boards site and select Continue to return to the Send to Boards dialog.
4. From Name, select the Boards site you want to send the document to. You can continue to select the relevant location in Boards.
5. Select Send.

   As the document is being uploaded, Entities displays its status in the Send to Boards dialog.

6. Select Close.
