Change Registered Office Address and E-File 484 Form to ASIC
You can change the registered office address for a single company or multiple companies at the same time and can produce the relevant 484 forms.
Before you start
To complete the following steps, ensure that your system is both licenced and configured for electronic filing for Australia. For more information about the configuration steps, refer to Set Up Electronic Filing for Australia.
To change the registered office address for multiple companies:

Select All Searches in the Global Banner and select the Companies tab.

Select Wizards > Batch Change Address.
The Batch Company Address Wizard opens.

Find and select the companies you want to change the address for and select Next.

On the Addresses page of the wizard, select the registered office address and select Next.

On the Type of Change page, select one of the options and select Next.
You have the following options here:

Select existing shared address
-
Create new shared address
-
New/Change one-off address
-
Clear current address details
In this example, we are selecting Create new shared address.

On the New Address: Registered Office page, enter the details of the new address and select Next.

One the Board Meeting page, enter the board meeting date if any or leave it blank and select Next.

On the Event Date page, provide the date when the new address becomes effective and select Next.

On the Action page, select Save as pending, then validate event and select Next.

On the Finish page, select the 484 form, select Other Options and Sign Documents. Complete the Sign Document wizard to specify a signatory for the document.
On the Signatory page, select the signatory. On the Signing Details page, enter the date the document is signed and select the role of the signatory.

On the Finish page, select the 484 form, select Other Options and Efile Documents. Complete the Efile Document wizard.

Select Finish to complete the Batch Company Address wizard.
If the processing of the document was successful, the document is in Verified and Queued status in Working Documents.

Go to Working Documents > Electronic Filing and select Send and Receive to send the form to the ASIC.
Note
You may get an error message when trying to connect to ASIC's system. If that is the case, try using the Send and Receive option multiple times in order to establish the connection with ASIC.
Go to Efiled by me to check the status. If everything went well and ASIC has accepted the document, the status is Received and Accepted.
