Deregister a Company with 6010 Form
Use the Change Company Status wizard to generate a 6010 form to voluntarily deregister an public or proprietary company in Australia.
When an Australian public or proprietary company applies for voluntary deregistration, a form 6010 is generated. In Diligent Entities, only a company can act as applicant for the deregistration process. As this is the case, an individual must be nominated to receive notification of deregistration.
-
Open the company record.
-
Select Wizards > Other Changes > Change Company Status to open the wizard.
Alternatively, you can use the wand for Company Status in the Main Details section.
-
On the New Status page of the wizard, select deregistered as company status and specify the date the change comes into effect. Select Next.
-
On the Select Entity page, select a nominee and select Next.
-
On the Voluntary Deregistration Declarations page, select the checkbox to declare that the statements listed are correct for your company. Select Next.
-
On the Actions page, select an action and select the Select signatory for documents and forms option to move on to enter signatory details. Select Next.
