Generate a B3 Form for Notice of Places Where Registers and Other Documents are Kept

With the B3 form, you can notify the CRO of places where the register of members, disclosable interests register, register of directors and secretaries, copies of instruments creating charges, minutes of meetings, and directors' service contracts or memoranda are kept.

To generate a B3 form for submission to the CRO:

  1. Open the required company record and select Company Details > Addresses.

    The Company Addresses page displays.

  2. Find the Company Records section and for the address you want to change, select Options options and select Change Address.

    Note

The summary form for the register of debentures address option differs in display in comparison to the other address options.

    Note

The register of charges address option is not currently e-filable.

For this example, Register of Members is selected.

The Company Address wizard opens with the Register of Members option selected.

  3. Select Next.

  4. On the Type of Change page of the wizard, select a change type and select Next.

You can select an existing address, create a new address or clear the current address.

  5. Search for and select an existing address or enter the new address details and select Next.

  6. Complete the wizard.

It is recommended that the Save as pending, then validate event option is selected on the Action page when preparing forms to file electronically. The option allows for quick and easy regeneration of forms if they fail the validation checks or are rejected by the CRO.

On the Documents page, make sure the B3 form is selected.

A pending event is created and the wizard closes.
