Favorites

You can create a list of shortcuts to entities you access most often by adding them to favorites.

This feature is available in both the classic and modernized versions of Entities. This section guides you in working in either version.

My Favourite Entities in classic Entities

Entities that have been added to the favourites are listed in the My Favourite Entities section. Each entry acts as a shortcut to the specific entity. Select the folder icon or the entity name to open the record directly from the My Portal page.

Add an entity to My Favourite Entities

An entity can be added to the My Favourite Entities list from the search page or the entity record.

To add an entity to the My Favourite Entities list from the search page:

1. Go to the relevant search page, for example, All Searches > Companies, and complete a search.

2. Select Options for the entity.

   The Options Menu displays.

3. Select the Add to My Favourites option.

   A notification displays stating that the favourite has been added.

4. Go back to the My Portal page. The selected entity displays in the My Favourite Entities list.

To add an entity to the My Favourite Entities list from the entity record:

1. Go to the relevant entity record and open it, for example, go to All Searches > Companies and choose the required entity's folder icon.

   The details of the selected entity display.

2. Select Company Details.

   The Company Details page displays.

3. Select Wizards to see the menu.

4. Select the Add to My Favourites option.

   A notification displays stating that the favourite has been added.

5. Go back to the My Portal page. The selected entity displays in the My Favourite Entities list.

Remove an entity from My Favourite Entities

An entity can be removed from the My Favourite Entities list from the My Portal page or the entity record.

To remove an entity from the My Favourite Entities list from the My Portal page:

1. Select the X icon for the entity record.

   A confirmation dialogue displays, requiring confirmation of the action.

2. Select OK on the confirmation dialogue.

   A notification displays stating that the favourite has been deleted from the list.

To remove an entity from the My Favourite Entities list from the My Portal page:

1. Go to the relevant entity record and open it, for example, go to All Searches > Companies and choose the required entity's folder icon.

   The details of the selected entity display.

2. Select Company Details.

   The Company Details page displays.

3. Select Wizards to see the menu.

4. Select the Remove from My Favourites option.

   A notification displays stating that the favourite has been deleted from the list.

Favorite entities in modernized Entities

When you add entities to favorites, they are displayed in the Favorite entities widget. Each entry in the widget acts as a shortcut to the specific entity.
