Record A Significant Controller
An individual with significant control in a company, or Person with Significant Control (PSC), and any Relevant Legal Entity (RLE) must be declared on a SC Register.
The presence of a PSC or RLE (Significant Controllers) can be recorded in Diligent Entities using Data Library Records.
To record the presence of a Significant Controller for a Hong Kong based company:
- Open the specific Company Record to view the Company details.
- Select the Compliance.
Compliance data for the Company display.
- Select the Data Library tab.
A list of related Data Libraries display.
- Select the Significant Controller Data Library.
The Significant Controller Data Library displays.
- Select the New.
The screen refreshes to display those fields in each section that can be edited (for example, Summary, Significant Control, or Dates).
With the new information entered:
- Select the Save button.
The information is saved and a new Significant Controller record is created for the register.
All created and saved Significant Controller records are visible from the Data Library search page.
