Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes: Partnerships

Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes can now be assigned to both Limited and Corporate Partnership entity types.

The Industrial Classifications Wizard screen is available when creating a new Partnership entity record, or when editing an existing one.

To assign a SIC code to a Partnership entity type, either:

• Navigate to: All Searches > Partnerships > Wizards > New Partnership.
• Progress through the wizard by entering in the relevant information into the fields provided.

Alternatively, for an existing record:

• Navigate to the required record and open it.
• Select Edit.

The Edit Partnership wizard opens.

• Select Next.

The Industrial Classifications screen displays.

• Select the dropdown menus provided to select an appropriate classification for the entity.
• Should an appropriate classification not exist in the list, enter an appropriate description into the Other Description field.
