Generating your PSC Register

Once the PSC records have been created, Users can generate their PSC Register by following the usual steps. Single and multiple Company registers can be produced within Diligent Entities in the same way as other Company records (for example, Directors and Secretaries).

Generating the PSC Register for a Single Company/SE/LLP

To produce the PSC Register for a single Company/SE/LLP, Users must:

  • Open the relevant Company/SE/LLP.
  • Navigate to Reports > Statutory Registers.
  • Select People with Significant Control to produce a document showing both the Service and Residential Address of the PSC, including the details of any PSCs with a 790ZG exemption in place, or People with Significant Control (public info. version) to take into account an Individual's 790ZF or 790ZG Exemptions, noting that, when a member of the public wantes to view the register or a copy of the register must be provided, it is recommended that the public info version is used.
  • Select Next.
  • Enter the date as at which you want to see the information or leave the date blank for a complete list of Additional Matters and/or PSC records and select Next.
  • Should you want to filter the information shown in the register(s) in order to only view details applicable for a certain period of time, enter your date range on the From/To Date screen.
  • Select Next twice until the Wizard is complete, ensuring that the register(s) is/are saved in the Working Documents section.
  • Navigate to Working Documents, locate and open your register(s). It should look as follows.

The current/most recent status(es)/additional matter(s) will usually show on the first page, whereas the previous (current and/or historical) matters will be displayed on the following page(s).

If the particulars of the PSC/RRLE/ORP have been entered within the application and confirmed using the appropriate Wizard, they will be displayed in the PSC Register, provided that the correct additional matter has been selected for the record (i.e. (NON STATUTORY) PARTICULARS CONFIRMED).

Note

The data shown in your register is not automatically populated following changes in your Shareholders or Corporate Relationships sections. If share transactions should result in changes to your register, the information must be manually stored/updated under the Ownership > People with Significant Control tab by using the appropriate Wizard. Follow the instructions in Dealing with Changes to your PSCs/RRLEs/ORPs and their Details and then regenerate your document(s).

Generating the PSC Register for a Group of Companies/SEs/LLPs

To produce the PSC Registers for multiple Companies/SEs/LLPs, Users must:

  • Navigate to the Main Menu of Diligent Entities.
  • Select All Searches > Companies.
  • Bring the relevant Companies/SEs/LLPs on screen, using the usual Search filters (for example, Country filter) and/or the selection boxes to choose the entities for which you want to generate registers (if needed).
  • Select Reports > For Word Processor > Registers.
  • Select either Individual Registers for separate documents for each entity and each register type or Batch Registers for a single document (per register type) listing details for all of the selected entities.
  • Choose the register(s) that you want to generate (for example, People with Significant Control or People with Significant Control (public info. version)) and select Next.
  • Complete the Wizard as explained in the previous section, then navigate to Working Documents to find and view each register.

Note

Follow the instructions in Dealing with Changes to your PSCs/RRLEs/ORPs and their Details and then regenerate your document(s).
