Identifying a Company or Other Entity within the Application as an ORP
If the Incorporation is significantly controlled by an 'other registrable person' (ORP), for example a government body or a corporation sole, its details must be listed separately within the IN01 and LLIN01 forms.
To classify a Company / Other Entity as an ORP:
- Locate and open the relevant entity.
- Go to Company/Other Entity Details.
- Select Edit.
- Navigate to the Significant Control section and select the type of ORP (for example, Corporation Sole, Local Authority, etc.) from the Other Registrable Person field.
- Select Save.
Once saved, this will identify the entity as an ORP and will ensure that its legal form (for example, Corporation Sole) is accurately displayed within the Incorporation form, while also listing the entity details in the correct section.
