Entity Overview Panel

After conducting a Quick Reports search, a summary of the selected entity's data can be viewed in the Entity Overview Panel. Thus, you can have reassurance that the correct information is selected before taking action.

Note

The visibility of data is determined by existing user role rights. Data displayed in the Entity Overview Panel cannot be edited in the Panel.

You can access the Entity Panel Overview in Quick Reports or in My Dashboard.

Access an Entity Overview Panel

Quick Reports

To access the Entity Overview Panel for an entity:

  • Navigate to either the Companies, Individuals, or Other Entities Quick Reports and conduct a search.
  • Locate the required entity from the results and select the Preview icon against the relevant entity.

The Entity Overview Panel displays.

My Dashboard

To access the same overview from My Dashboard:

  • Open My Dashboard, navigate to the Quick Reports tile and locate the relevant entity.

  • Select the Open icon against the relevant entity.

The Entity Overview Details window opens.

Entity Name

In the Entity Overview Panel, the name of the selected entity displays below Details.

Next to the entity name are the Download and Open icons.

Download: Export overview data

Data displayed in the Entity Overview Panel can be exported as in Excel or PDF formats. To export:

  • Select the Download icon. The Download dropdown menu displays.

  • Select either Download as Excel or Download as PDF, as appropriate, to export the data in the required format.

Open

Select the Open icon to access and view the full record of the selected entity.

Headers

Key details from the selected entity's record display by default beneath relevant headers.

The Main Details section displays in an expanded state by default. Details contained within the other sections remain hidden behind collapsed section headers.

To expand a section and view content, select the Expand icon against the relevant header.

The section expands to reveal the recorded detail. The Expand icon now changes to a Collapse icon.

  • Select the Collapse icon to close any expanded section and hide its related content.

The number in brackets in the header indicates the number of entries recorded in the section. For example, (4) displayed in the Appointments header indicates that there are four Appointees recorded for the selected entity.

If no data has been entered and saved in the record for one of the sections, a (0) will display in the Header and the Expand icon will not display.

Close

To close the Entity Overview Panel, select Close (x) in the Details field.
