Enable Data Room in Diligent Entities

You can send documents easily and securely directly from Diligent Entities into a specified room or folder within Data Room (previously Secure File Sharing).

Data Room uses specially designed security features to allow for the secure sharing of sensitive information from Entities with external parties such as auditors, regulators or third parties.

Enable Data Room in Entities

You must also have user permission rights enabled within Entities in order to be able to access and use Data Room.

To enable the setting for a particular user role:

1. Navigate to System Tools > Systems Security > User Roles.

2. Selecting the Folder icon against the relevant user role to open the User Role wizard.

3. Select Next to navigate to the User Role Rights page.

4. Select the Working Documents section header and select the related expand icon to reveal the user role rights contained within.

5. Select checkbox for Send Document to Data Room.

6. Select Finish to close the wizard. The user role rights are now enabled, visible and accessible for the required user role

   Note

   Make sure that you have cleared the List Manager cache in order to see the update in the system.
