Secure File Sharing: Enable Secure File Share in Diligent Entities

You can send documents easily and securely directly from Diligent Entities into a specified Room or Folder within Secure File Sharing.

Secure File Sharing uses specially designed security features to allow for the secure sharing of sensitive information from Diligent Entities with external parties such as auditors, regulators or third parties.

Enable Secure File Share in Diligent Entities

You must also have user permission rights enabled within Diligent Entities in order to be able to access and use Secure File Sharing.

To enable the setting for a particular User Role:

1. Navigate to System Tools > Systems Security > User Roles.

2. Selecting the Folder icon against the relevant user role to open the User Role wizard.

3. Select Next to navigate to the User Role Rights page.

4. Select the Working Documents section header and select the related expand icon to reveal the user role rights contained within.

5. Select checkbox for Send Document to Secure File Share.

6. Select Finish to close the wizard. The user role rights are now enabled, visible and accessible for the required user role

   Note

   Make sure that you have cleared the List Manager cache in order to see the update in the system.
