Enable share class category code layout
In order for the new share class category code grouped layout to display, the appropriate Company validation setting must be enabled.
The new layout can be enabled in two ways: via List Manager in System Tools, or via an individual Company Record .
List Manager
Note
System Tools can only be accessed and configured by users with Administrator rights.
To enable the layout via System Tools:
- Navigate to: System Tools > List Manager > Validations.
- From the Country dropdown menu, select Australia then select the Search icon.
All Australian related validations display.
- Open each Company Validation by selecting the folder icon.
The Validations wizard opens.
- Select the Events tab to display the Events validation options.
- Scroll through the Event Validations listed to locate and select the Require share class code checkbox.
- Select Finish.
The wizard closes.
The company is updated with the new validation settings.
- Repeat these steps for each applicable company validation.
Company Record
Alternatively, to enable the new layout for an individual Company:
- Navigate to: required Company Record > Company Details > Wizards > Administration > Company Options Wizard.
The Company Options Wizard displays.
- Select Edit.
The Validations wizard displays.
- Select the Events tab.
- Scroll through the list and locate the Require Share Class Code Event validation.
- Select the related checkbox, then select Finish.
The wizard closes.
- Select Finish in the Company Options wizard.
The wizard closes.
The company is updated with the new validation settings.
