The system allows you to record information for three types of entities: Companies, Individuals and Other Entities.

Companies belong to your group of Companies, and Shareholders and Appointees can be recorded within them. Individuals are all natural persons, Appointees and/or Shareholders of those Companies. Other Entities are non-group Companies or third party Entities. They do not actually belong to your group of Companies, but may form part of your Company, for example, a Corporate Director or Shareholder. However, Other Entities cannot have Shareholders or Appointees within them.

Other Entities can also be Branch Offices, Joint Shareholders or Trusts. If you want to record a different type of Other Entity for example, Committees, this needs to be recorded under Entity Types.

Following its recording, you can input a new Other Entity using this type.
