Waterfalls
Here we look at your C corp Waterfall view and its features. If your company is set up as an LLC you will have additional features. For more information, go to About Limited Liability Company waterfall.

Select Waterfall on the navigation bar.

To set the effective date of the data you want to view, select As at. Diligent Equity defaults to the current date.
Note
The table can be set to display any date, past or future. Diligent Equity re-calculates vested amounts displayed and eliminates transactions dated after the effective date.

In the Total Proceeds input field, enter the amount for the waterfall, and select an Acquisition or IPO scenario from the dropdown menu.

Acquisition calculations consider account liquidation preferences and vested options, after giving effect to any vesting acceleration. For more information go to Setting up liquidation preferences.

IPO calculations consider all outstanding options, excluding liquidation preferences.

To include extra balances in the waterfall calculation, such as cash, OCS, select Additional Balances.

To change the view, select Waterfall, Chart or Table.
Tip
You can customize your Chart view by selecting from the dropdown menus next to Charts.

Enter criteria to filter your list or choose options for display.

To download an .xlsx file format of your waterfall, select Export.
On each line you can see the total proceeds, PPS, and IRR.
