Generating the API key
The Diligent Equity API is a functionality that must be activated for your account by the Diligent Support team. To activate, submit a request email to equity@diligent.com.
After the API functionality has been activated you will be able to generate your API Key.

Sign into Diligent Equity.

Go to any cap table in your account.
Note
For VC and PE customers, you may have multiple cap tables however, you only need one API Key for your entire organization.

Navigate to the API tab on the navigation bar and select the blue Generate API Key button.
The API key will be generated and you can copy the unique key from the grid.
Tip
If you would prefer to have your Diligent Equity Customer Success Manager generate the API Key on your behalf we are happy to do so. Contact your Customer Success Manager or log a ticket with our Support Team with the request. We will share your unique Key with you via the Diligent Secure File Sharing platform.
