Data backup and recovery

Diligent backs up all customer data, including field data and attachments that are stored in your accounts within the system, as part of our disaster recovery plan.

How long Diligent backs up your data

As long as your subscription is active, your data will be backed up.

How often your data is backed up

A full backup of the entire system database is run hourly, daily, and weekly for a one-year period, for the purpose of restoring data integrity due to systemic or database failure only.

Recovering data if someone in your organization maliciously deletes it

In the unlikely event that an authorized user within your organization maliciously deletes your data, Diligent will work with you to investigate and restore the lost data from our system backup, providing the data deleted falls within the one-year backup time frame.

Recovering deleted items

You cannot undo individual item deletions in HighBond. All delete actions require a confirmation, and once the delete is confirmed, the item is no longer available. The simplest way to replace a deleted item is to recreate it.
