Rerouting tasks

Any user belonging to the review queue associated with a task can reroute (reassign) a task to a different review queue.

  1. Access the document. See Finding and managing documents.

  2. From the document's Review Cycle tab, select the task to re-route.

  3. Select the three dots at the right of the task name and select Take Ownership, if you do not own the task. See Taking or releasing ownership of a task.

  4. On the right, in Route to, select the review queue.

    Caution

    Once the rerouting is completed, you and users in your queue will no longer be able to modify the task.

  5. Select Save. If set up by your organization, the people in the Route to queue will get an email notification with a link to complete their work.
