Deleting a requirement, standard, or regulation

You can delete requirements, standards, or regulations if you want to remove them permanently from the compliance map.

Note

This feature is unavailable for locked standards and regulations and their associated requirements. For more information, see Creating a compliance map

Permissions

Users assigned Compliance Maps Privileges with Read/Write access can delete requirements, standards, or regulations in a compliance map.

Delete a requirement

  1. From the Launchpad home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com), select the Compliance Maps app to open it.

    If you are already in Diligent One, you can use the left-hand navigation menu to switch to the Compliance Maps app.

    Note

    Diligent One Platform also supports the domain www.highbond.com. For more information, see Supported domains.

  2. From the All standards and regulations dropdown list, select the appropriate standards or regulations.

    The standard or regulation displays in the tree view.

  3. Navigate to the appropriate requirement:
    • Search for a requirement by entering the requirement ID, title, or description.

      Search terms are highlighted in the tree view.

    • Filter requirements displayed in the tree view by selecting the Applicable, Not covered (Gaps), Covered, or Not Applicable tab.
  4. Click the title of the requirement or use the available keyboard shortcuts to open the requirement.

    The Requirement details page opens.

  5. Click Delete from the More menu.
    Caution

    Deleting a requirement permanently removes the requirement and all associated sub-requirements from the compliance map. To avoid losing work, type "delete" to confirm the removal of a requirement.

  6. Click Delete requirement.

    The requirement is permanently removed from the compliance map.

Delete a standard or regulation

  1. From the Launchpad home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com), select the Compliance Maps app to open it.

    If you are already in Diligent One, you can use the left-hand navigation menu to switch to the Compliance Maps app.

  2. From the All standards and regulations dropdown list, select the appropriate standards or regulations.
  3. The standard or regulation displays in the tree view.

  4. Click Show Details from the Action column of the standard or regulation.

    The Standard and regulation details panel opens.

  5. Click Delete.

    Caution

    Deleting a standard or regulation permanently removes the standard / regulation and all associated requirements under the standard / regulation from the compliance map. To avoid losing work, type "delete" to confirm the removal of a standard or regulation.

  6. Click Delete standard or regulation.

The standard or regulation is permanently removed from the compliance map.
