Managing work with Task Tracker

Task Tracker is an app in HighBond. You can use the Task Tracker app to centrally track and manage all to-dos, requests, and reviews across multiple projects.

How it works

Task Tracker is an app that helps you centrally track and manage the following work:

  • To-dos reminders or review notes that have been assigned to you or by you
  • Requests documents that you ask business owners or other stakeholders to provide
  • Reviews work that someone else has been prepared and signed-off on, and assigned to you to read and provide feedback

Permissions

Only Professional Managers, Professional Users, and Oversight Executives can access the Task Tracker app.

Manage to-dos

Manage to-dos that have been assigned to you and by you across multiple projects and frameworks.

  1. Open the Task Tracker app.

    The Task Tracker page displays with a list of open to-dos, assigned to you, and sorted by the most recent due date.

    The yellow clock represents overdue items. The red dot represents unread items.

  2. Locate a to-do by doing any of the following:
    • Search or apply filters to restrict the list of to-dos.
    • Sort to-dos by clicking next to the column title.
  3. Adjust the status of a to-do, view information in the table, or click the to-do description to update the to-do.
    Tip

    You can navigate to the project where the to-do was created or the source page where the to-do was created by clicking the link under the Project or Source column, respectively.

    Note

    To-do items can only be re-assigned to HighBond users that have access to the project that contains the to-do.

    Result The to-dos are updated.

Manage requests

Manage all requests you or others have assigned across multiple projects.

  1. Open the Task Tracker app.
  2. Select the Requests subtab.

    The page displays with a list of open requests, requested by you, and sorted by the most recent due date.

    The yellow clock represents overdue items. The red dot represents unread items. The lock indicates that the section containing the request has been checked out by another user using Offline Projects or HighBond for iPad, and the request is read-only.

  3. Locate a request by doing any of the following:
    • Search or apply filters to restrict the list of requests.
    • Sort requests by clicking next to the column title.
  4. Adjust the status of a request, view information in the table, or click the request description to update the request.
    Tip

    You can navigate to the project where the request was created or the source page where the request was created by clicking the link under the Project or Source column, respectively.

    Result Request information is updated.

Manage reviews

Manage all reviews assigned to you across multiple projects.

  1. Open the Task Tracker app.
  2. Click the Reviews tab.

    A list of reviews displays, sorted alphabetically by title.

    The lock indicates that the section containing the review has been checked out by another user using Offline Projects or HighBond for iPad, and the review is read-only.

  3. Locate a review by doing any of the following:
    • Search or apply the Project filter to restrict the list of reviews.
    • Sort reviews by clicking next to the column title.
  4. Click the appropriate link under the Title column to navigate to the project page you have been assigned to review.

    Result You can review the information on the page, and sign-off when you finish the review.
