Maintaining filters and fixing errors

If you view an interpretation with broken filters, Results displays an error message at the top of the screen, places an error icon over the filter button, and highlights the broken filter. You can fix these issues as they appear.

Why filters break

As time passes, your company and data change. For example, someone may delete fields used by the filter or change the format of your data. As a result, Diligent One can be unable to process filters that were created in the past.

Errors and how to fix them

The interpretations contains an invalid filter(s), please reconfigure to save. At least one of the filters in this interpretation use data that has been deleted or had its data type changed.
  1. Click the Filters button in the upper-right corner.
  2. In the View & Add Filters panel, delete the filters with error icons .
  3. Create new filters as needed. If the data item you need is not available, reimport your data before fixing the error. For more information, see Importing and exporting data.

At least one of the filters in this interpretation, and at least one of the fields used for the chart, use data that has been deleted or had its data type changed.
