Audit Logs for admins
The BoardEffect Audit Logs are a free and optional add-on, accessible by system administrators only. These logs track the creation, changes, and deletions of Meeting Books, events, user profiles, user permissions, and collaborative content in your portal. Note that Audit Logs do not capture when or where Users view content. For information on User access, refer to the Recent Logins and Login Activity Reports under Site Settings.
To enable the Audit Logs for your BoardEffect portal, contact your implementation specialist, our Client Success team at training@boardeffec.com, or submit a request to support@boardeffect.com.

On the BoardEffect home page, on the left-side Navigation Bar, select Site Settings
. -
Select the new Audit Logs option toward the bottom left-hand side. Depending on the age and content history of your portal, this may take a moment to load.

The Audit Logs are filterable by Admin type, specific Users, Date Ranges, specific change class, and the specific type of change. Click the dropdown menu and select a filter from any of the filters.

After choosing options from the filters, select the Filter button to apply the changes.

The logs are sectioned by the name of the user making the change, the exact date the change occurred, the event (or what is happening) and the changes being made.

Note, many entries may show changes being made by “BoardEffect System”. These are simply backend changes being made or automatic processes taking place.

Changes may also be displayed as going from “0” to “1”, meaning something was OFF and changed to ON. Similarly, this can be displayed as True or False.

Pages of the Audit Logs can be navigated by scrolling down, but the Administrator may also generate an excel file to quickly search through the entries.

Select the Reset button to reset the filters.
