Viewing the option plan summary
This section explains about the settings of the option plan in Diligent Equity
In Diligent Equity, the status of the option plan is automatically updated after each transaction is entered. To view a summary of the option plan status, complete the below steps.

Select Options on the left navigation bar, and choose your requested option plan.

Select the calendar at the upper right corner of the screen, select the effective date of the option data you want to view on the pop-up calendar. EquityEffect defaults to the current date. You can display the data as of any date, past or future. When the effective date is changed, Diligent Equity re-calculates vested amounts displayed, among other things.
You will see how many shares are available for grant under the plan, as well as how many shares are outstanding, granted, exercised, and cancelled. You will also see whether there are any proposed grants that have not been approved by the Board yet, and whether there are any exercises pending.
In addition, all of the above data is included in the Reports screen, which you can access by clicking on the section of the Dashboard. There is a complete sub-section dedicated to Options and warrants.
