Delete a cap table

Here we describe how to delete a cap table in Diligent Equity.

Caution

Before deleting a cap table, we recommend that you download and save a backup copy of the cap table. For more information go to Backup and restore.

There are two options for deleting a cap table from Diligent Equity.

Option one

  1. Select Utilities at the left side of the screen.

  2. Fill in your password in the password field.

  3. Select Delete Cap Table in the main screen.

  4. In the Confirm Delete pop-up window, select YES if you are sure you want to proceed with deleting the cap table.

    Note

    The cap table and all associated versions is permanently deleted, and the data is not recoverable.

Option two

  1. Select Manage Cap Tables at the upper bar.

  2. Check one of the radio button adjacent to the cap table's name in the pop up window.

  3. Press on the Delete button at the bottom.

  4. Fill in your password in the password field.

  5. In the Confirm Delete pop-up window, select YES if you are sure you want to proceed with deleting the cap table.

    Note

    The cap table and all associated versions is permanently deleted, and the data is not recoverable.
