Tax Data Requests
A Tax Data Request sends an XML message to the Delaware Division of Corporations requesting the tax amount owed by the entity.
Delaware's server will either approve or reject the request. If successful, the response received from the Delaware Division of Corporations will generate an Franchise Tax (Delaware) Data Library record, populating all relevant fields.
Note
Tax year: Unless there exists an active (in Diligent Entities) Franchise Tax (Delaware) Data Library, the tax year assumed for the tax data request will be the current calendar year minus one (for example, If you submit a tax data request in the calendar year 2019, the tax data request will be for 2018, as taxes are paid in arrears).
If an active (in Diligent Entities) Franchise Tax (Delaware) data library already exists, the tax year stored in this Data Library will be used.
