Administrators can change invalid quick references for companies, individuals and other entities.
Invalid quick references contain characters other than letters (A-Z), numbers (0-9), underscores (_) and hyphens (-).
- Go to System Tools > System Maintenance > QuickRef Override.
The QuickRef Override Wizard opens.
- On the Select Invalid QuickRef screen, choose an invalid quick reference from the dropdown list and select Next.
- On the New QuickRef screen, enter a quick reference or have the system generate one. Select Next.
Make sure you only use valid characters, that is, letters (A-Z), numbers (0-9), underscores (_) and hyphens (-).
The Confirmation screen displays stating that the invalid quick reference has been changed to the new quick reference.
- Select Finish on the Confirmation screen.
