Process a note conversion
Use Diligent Equity to create and process a note conversion.
Tip

If the round the note is to be converted to has not been created begin at step 1.

If the round the note is to be converted to already exists in the cap table go to step 3.

Go to the Securities section in the navigation sidebar and select Shares.

Select +New stock issuance to create the new round of preferred stock. For further information go to Create preferred stock.

Go to the Notes tab in Securities section and select the note round that has been converted.

Select Settings and go to the Note Conversion tab in the Settings window.

In the Convert to Series dropdown, select the round of stock this note should convert to.

After the selection has been made Diligent Equity automatically calculates the conversion based on the settings that were selected.

Select the Override box to change the converted price.

Select Close to navigate back to the note issuances.
The notes found in the note round are now converted using the conversion calculations.
Note
You can manually change the conversion details for each note by going to the Note Issuance.
