Deactivating a BoardEffect user

When you deactivate a user, they no longer have access to their profile in BoardEffect. You can activate a user who is deactivated, because their profile details and account history is saved.

  1. On the BoardEffect home page, on the left-side Navigation Bar, select Directory.

  2. To search for a user, enter their first and/or last name in the Search field or select "Advanced Search."

  3. Select the three dots to the right of the user's name.
  4. Select Deactivate User from the menu.
  5. A pop-up window appears to confirm you would like to deactivate the user. Select Continue to deactivate the user, or Cancel if you don't want to deactivate the user.

    Note

    A deactivated user is not included in the total number of users at your organization, so it does not affect your licensed allotment.
