Change Mapping Tool Defaults

Administrators can override the default behavior on the Mappings Tool tab for each filing.

The following options are available:

• SC_ShowAssociatesSection
• SC_ShowDNASection
• SC_WarnOnShare
• SC_SetDNA
• SC_CreateOpen
• SC_MakeOpenOnResign

SC_ShowAssociatesSection

If SC_ShowAssociatesSection is set to Y, the Mapping Tool shows the Other Associated Persons section.

SC_ShowDNASection

If SC_ShowDNASection is set to Y, the Mapping Tool shows the Responsibilities that Do Not Apply section.

SC_WarnOnShare

If SC_WarnOnShare is set to Y, the Mapping Tool shows a message when the Notes field is mandatory.

SC_SetDNA

If SC_SetDNA is set to Y, the Mapping Tool displays the Set to Does Not Apply menu option.

SC_CreateOpen

If SC_CreateOpen is set to Y, the Mapping Tool displays the Create Open menu option.

SC_MakeOpenOnResign

If SC_MakeOpenOnResign is set to Y, an open record is created if resigning an individual from a function and the the associated responsibilities and conditions are retained underneath.

By default, the options for the GB-SMR filing are as follows: SC_ShowAssociatesSection=Y|SC_ShowDNASection=Y|SC_WarnOnShare=Y|SC_SetDNA=Y|SC_CreateOpen=Y|SC_MakeOpenOnResign=Y

To override the default values:

1. Go to System Tools > SMCR Solution > Configuration > Filing and open the specific filing record by selecting the folder next to the filing you want to edit.

2. Select Edit.

3. Copy the string in the Options Defaults section into the Options Override section and make any edits needed and then select Save.

The Options Result is updated with the changes you made and the Mapping Tool page updates for that filing.
