Investor (ownership view) role overview
This article describes what the Ownership View Investor Role Type sees within Diligent Equity.
The Ownership View Investor Role type within the Diligent Equity Platform is a way for companies to grant very limited access to their Investor's ownership information.
The Ownership View Investor Role does not allow the Investor to see any cap table data. This permission only shows the investors their total number of shares, their fully diluted ownership, and the transaction information for their investments.
The Investor (Ownership View) permission has access to the following views and functionality:
Holdings-This is the first page a user will see when logging into the cap table that was shared with them. The Ownership Investor Role Type will only see their Holdings and not detailed cap table information.
Certificates- If share certificate(s) have been manually uploaded, or sent via Diligent Equity, they will appear in the Certificates tab for the Investor with this permission.
Documents- Documents that have been uploaded, and tagged to this specific Investor, will appear on the document tab.
Note
Documents cannot be viewed in the portal, they can only be downloaded.
