Viewing a document's history
                                                        The system keeps a record of every document change, who made the change, and the date and time of the change. You can also compare documents.
The system automatically tracks document versions and revisions:

                                                                Version: A document version includes all revisions made up to when the document is published. When a review cycle is launched, a new version is assigned by the system. For example, Version 2.0. 
- 
                                                                Revision: A document revision is a snapshot of the document at the point it was saved, for example, Revision 2.0.29 is the 29th revision to version 2.0. 
Steps to view document history:

                                                                Access the document. See Finding and managing documents. 
- 
                                                                From the document, select the History Viewer tab. 
- 
                                                                Under the Version, select Revision History then the revision number to see the actions you can take. As needed, select: - 
                                                                         Send a chat. Send a chat.
- 
                                                                         Send an email. Send an email.
- 
                                                                         Show or hide redlined differences from the last revision. Show or hide redlined differences from the last revision.
- 
                                                                         Download the selected revision in Word or PDF format. Download the selected revision in Word or PDF format.

Compare document history
You can compare document history to see the variances between versions and revisions.
- 
                                                                Access the document. See Finding and managing documents. 
- 
                                                                From the document, select the History Viewer tab. 
- 
                                                                On the far right, select History Comparison to compare versions. 
- 
                                                                You can select Versions Only to compare published versions or deselect Versions Only to view revisions and versions. 
- 
                                                                Select the two documents you want to compare then select the Compare button. Redline content shows what was added or deleted to arrive at the latest rewrite you selected.
