Amend Confirmation Statements for UK publicly traded Companies

In order to file annual returns for publicly traded Companies in the United Kingdom, the Confirmation Statement/AR (Annual Return) Data Library must be completed before a Confirmation Statement is generated.

Completing the Confirmation Statement/AR Data Library beforehand will select the appropriate checkboxes in section C1 and C2 of the Confirmation Statement accordingly.

To complete the Confirmation Statement/AR Data Library:

• Navigate to: Data Library > Statutory.

The Statutory Records screen displays.

• Select New.

The New Item screen displays.

For

In the For section, select the Wand icon (located on the right-hand side) to search for and select the Company that this Confirmation Statement is being created for.

Summary

Type: Select the Confirmation Statement/AR option.

The screen updates to display related fields.

Status: Select the Active status for this record.

Reminder: Enter a date into the Reminder field (if applicable).

Assigned to: Assign this to the user responsible for updating/verifying/authorising this record (if applicable).

From Date: Enter the date that this Confirmation Statement record is active from, into the field provided.

To Date: N/A

Confirmation Statement/Company Annual Return (UK)

Company shares traded on a market?: Select the checkbox to indicate that Company shares are traded on a market.

Company is an issuer to which DR5 applies?: Indication of whether the Company is an issuer to which DTR5 applies.

Exemption from a PSC Register?: Select one of the options to indicate whether the company is exempt from keeping a PSC Register.

Attachments

• Select the Wand icon to attach any relevant documentation to the record.

• With the necessary detail added, select Save.

The new record displays on screen.

• Select Close to return to the search screen.
• Generate the Confirmation Statement.

The relevant sections will be populated in line with the selections made on the Data Library.
