My Dashboard and Shared Dashboards
My Dashboard can be configured by individual users, whereas Shared Dashboards are configured by administrators for individual users and are read-only.
As a user for whom a Shared Dashboard has been created, the Shared Dashboard will act as the default view when opening the Dashboard.
User Roles define the access a user has to various areas of Diligent Entities, including views, wizards, Data Libraries, and reporting functions. The existence of a User Role will also determine the existence of a Shared Dashboard.
The group of users attached to a User Role will be the users granted access to view the configured Shared Dashboard.
