Building a risk profile and defining risks

Strategy is an app in Diligent One. You can follow this quick start if you are using the Strategy app for the first time.

Before you start

Strategy Admin must manage users and configure Strategy.

Workflow

1. Import risks from Risk Library

  1. From the Launchpad home page (www.highbond.com), select the Strategy app to open it.

If you are already in Diligent One, you can use the left-hand navigation menu to switch to the Strategy app.

  2. Click Risk Library. The Risk Library side panel opens.
  3. Select the risks you want to import to your organizational risk profile, or select the checkbox next to the Risk header to select all risks in the list.
    Tip

Best practice is to review industry-specific risks first, and then move on to general risks that are applicable to your organization. General risks do not have a description, but you can always create a description for the risk once you have imported it to Risk Profile.

  4. Click Import (#) Risks. The risks are saved in Risk Profile in the left-most column.

2. Manually add risks

  1. From the Risk Profile, click + Add.
  2. Enter a name and description for the risk.
  3. Click Save.

3. Define risk attributes

  1. From the Risk Profile, click on the risk you want to edit.
  2. Click the Details tab.
  3. Click each field, record information about the risk, and click to save your changes.
  4. Click to return to the Risk Profile.
