Create a Team Data room

As an organizational administrator, you create Team Data rooms from the Team data rooms tab in your administration view. Team rooms have their own license allocation, and each member will utilize a license.

For Flows: A Team Data room is required for Flow installations as it serves as central storage location for the files, folders, and templates needed for meetings. When creating a team room for a Flow take note of the names or email addresses entered. After you have created the team room, you won't be able to see who has been assigned as data room managers. You can only enter registered users of the Secure File Sharing organization as data room managers.

Caution

We recommend you assign at least two Data room managers to each new team room to ensure that no data is lost in the event of one leaving the organization. They must be licensed users of the organization with a Personal Data room.

  1. In your Team data rooms tab select Create data room from the toolbar to open the Create data room dialog.

  2. Enter the name of the data room in the Name field.

  3. Add a description of the team. Optional.

  4. Select the Data room managers field to start entering the email addresses. Select the Enter key on your device to add each email address.

  5. Allocate storage space assigned to the room by moving the slider.

  6. Select Save.

Note

Invitations will be sent to the Data room managers inviting them to the new Team Data room. They will now manage all aspects of that team room.

The new room will now display in your Team data rooms tab.
