Manage Federated Identity solutions

There are several types of Federated Authentication supported by Secure File Sharing. Diligent must enable the features for your organization before it can be activated. Steps will also need to be undertaken by your IT administrator.

  • Secure File Sharing uses the OAuth 2.0 protocol to communicate with:

    • Active Directory Federated Services (AD FS)

    • OpenID Connect (OIDC)

    • Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)

Note

There are several Open ID providers. Therefore, the Open ID Connect configuration depends on the specific provider and can vary in detail. Azure Active Directory is an Open ID provider.
