Add a Conditional Snippet task to the workflow

Add a Conditional Snippet A predefined task or group of tasks that can be inserted into a workflow or workflow definition. Snippets are created and managed similiar to how workflow definitions are created and managed. task Part of a workflow that itemizes certain work to be completed. named Approved or Rejected. Select Evaluate conditions until first true condition is found. This means the Conditions we set will be evaluated in order and the first one found to be true is inserted and the evaluation stops. The other option, Evaluate all conditions, evaluates every Condition on the task and insert one or more snippets for each true condition.
Select the Add Condition button. For Condition 1, these fields are added:
- In Add Fields From dropdown list, select Task and the RC Team Review, which is the task where the approved or denied determination was made.
- From the Available Fields, drag the Determination-Approved? - RC Team Review field A field is a way to input information, often a question. from the left to the right.
- Set the Condition to = and Value to Yes.
- For the If the criteria are met, then insert this snippet: dropdown list, select the Third Party Approval snippet to be inserted. As described earlier, the snippet sends the notification, sets the status Third-party Status used for searching, for example, Active or Inactive. Approval Status is a subset of the Status. See Approval Status. Case Status used for searching, for example, Only Open Cases or Only Closed Cases., and closes the workflow.
Select Add Condition again and then add Condition 2 which comes into play if Condition 1 is not met. This is the information that triggers the Third Party Rejected snippet.
Select the Save button to save the Conditional Snippet task.
To make sure the previous task is completed before the Approved or Rejected Conditional Snippet task is automatically triggered, select the three dots at the right of the task then Manage Predecessors. The Task Alert to Legal Dept is set as a precondition to be completed before the Conditional Snippet is triggered. (Earlier tasks were either set up with a precondition or were required.)
Save the precondition which completes the workflow definition.
