AI Investigator

If your organization uses the Artificial Intelligence Investigator (AI Investigator), you can conduct ad hoc searches for adverse media related to third-party entities or individuals. This tool is especially useful for one-time screenings prior to onboarding a third party or for conducting discreet, confidential assessments.

To perform a search:

  1. Select AI Investigator from the left panel.

  2. Enter relevant keywords in the Search term fieldClosed A field is a way to input information, often a question., then select Search after choosing a filter setting: Broad, Default, or Exact.

  3. (Optional) To further refine your search results, you can enter additional related keywords in the Optional Refinement field.

  4. Review the search results under the Adverse media results and GDCClosed Global Database Check screens over 1,500 lists for sanctions, embargoes, watchlists, court lists, and politically exposed persons. When a third party is entered, it is immediately screened. Re-screening frequency can be scheduled. results tabs.

    The information is compiled from open sources and may include names, aliases, affiliations, nationality, addresses, dates of birth, occupations, watchlist and sanctions data, and high-confidence matches for adverse media.

    • Adverse media results Displays all results based on the highest Relevance Score, along with source links. The score evaluates the connection between negative findings and the search subject, helping to minimize false positives and highlight the most relevant results. Select the links to download PDF copies.

  5. Document your findings in the third-party notes, document attachments, or case attachments, including any relevant web links discovered during the review.
