Using visual analytics (Diligent Corporation Insights)
With Diligent Corporation Insights, over 30 reports related to anti-bribery and anti-corruption to help your compliance team identify actionable insights and drive process improvements. The team can effectively identify red flags, see hard-to-detect patterns, and drive efficiency in procurement for an effective and defensible compliance program.
Available reports
The available reports are grouped as follows:
- Third-Party Management: These reports focus on the current status
Third-party Status used for searching, for example, Active or Inactive. Approval Status is a subset of the Status. See Approval Status. Case Status used for searching, for example, Only Open Cases or Only Closed Cases. of your third party population, their trends, renewal schedules, risk profiles, risk influencers, 3P monitoring, and 3P screening.
- Case
Assigned to a third party profile related to a questionnaire sent for response, due diligence investigation, or other action. Management: These reports focus on the current status of open and closed cases, their trends over time, adverse findings within investigations, DDQ
Due Diligence Questionnaire which can be sent to third parties for response. Questions can be added to a risk model to use in determining the overall risk rating for a third party. status, information from the Case Reviewer tab, cycle times, spend highlights and spend trends.
- User Activity | Support Reports: These report focus on users and user activity, case and 3P audit logs, and email logs.
- Securimate System Configuration: These reports relate to DDQ configuration, email templates, ACL content, regions, locales, departments, types/categories, and form

Access a report and select data
To view the Diligent Corporate Insights reports:
- Select the Analytics tab.
- Under Visual Analytics, select Diligent Corporation Insights.
- Hover over a report to see the report description.
- Select a report.

To drill down on data, select on a blank spot in any visual to set that as your selection for the detailed data display. For example, if a chart depicts 3P risk composition by region, you can drill down to see risk composition by 3P status, approval status
The status of the third party approval, for example, Pending, Approved, Denied for Compliance Reasons, and so on. Approval Status is a subset of Status. See Status., owner, country, and so on.
Hover over each button to: drill up, drill down, go to the next hierarchy level, or expand all one hierarchy level down.

Over 30 reports are available. Customizations beyond the provided reports are available for an additional fee.
Refresh report data
Available information is based on a scheduled data refresh. Go to the bottom of the page to see the data refresh was started and completed. Select the Refresh Now button on the bottom right of the page to refresh the data. It will typically take some minutes for the refresh to complete.
Setting filters to determine the data to include
The data on a report is impacted by the report, visual, and page level filters.
Important
If you believe the same data provides different values on two different pages, it is most likely due to differences in the filters on each page.
The filters applied (value is not All) display in a different color.
To set Visual Analytics filters:
- Select the Analytics tab.
- Under Visual Analytics, select Diligent Corporation Insights.
- Select
Filters on the right.
- Select what you want the filter to affect:
- Select the top of the reporting area to display Filters on all pages.
- Select a part of the reporting area to display Filters on this visual (the one selected) and Filters on all pages.
- Select the filter, change the values, then select Apply filter. The filter turns from blue to orange.
- Other actions:
- To clear one filter, display the filter on the right panel then select the
eraser icon.
- To clear all filters and set them back to the system defaults, select the Reset Filters button on the top of the report.
- Select the Home button to leave the reporting panel and return to the Home screen.
- Select the Dashboard button for a high level view of third-party status.
- Select the Q&A button to select a predefined question button or ask a question in the search area. The search will answer your question and suggest other ways to ask a similar question.
- Select Help to view additional information about the reporting tool.
- Select Reset Filters to reset all filters applied to the page or report.

Using the reporting panel to manipulate and export data
When you hover your pointer in the upper right corner of each panel section, you will see the following buttons. Not all buttons are available for each panel.
Hover over each button to: drill up, drill down, go to the next hierarchy level, or expand all one hierarchy level down.
Information: Select to read details about the panel.
Filters (top of page): Select to view the filters applied to the panel. For example, a filter might be: 3P Status - 3P is not inactive.
Focus mode: Select to display the panel full screen, for example to display smaller countries hard to find on a map. Select Back to report to return to the report.
More options: The More Options selection menu includes:
- Export data to an Excel file
- Show as table
- Spotlight to highlight the panel
- Get insights, if available
- Sort descending (large to small, Z to A)
- Sort ascending (small to larger, A to Z)
- Sort Axis to choose the order the data displays.
- Sort by to sort on the values shown in the menu.
