Managing GDC filters
You can set up and manage the Global Database Check (GDC Global Database Check screens over 1,500 lists for sanctions, embargoes, watchlists, court lists, and politically exposed persons. When a third party is entered, it is immediately screened. Re-screening frequency can be scheduled.) filters to align with your due diligence needs. This allows you to screen against a broader and updated set of global regulatory lists giving you greater control over what’s included in your due diligence processes.
To enable your GDC filters,

Navigate to Settings > Content Control, and select then GDC Filter.

In the Apply Exclusions by 3P Type
The type of third party, for example, Channel Partner, Vendor, Supplier, or DO NOT ENGAGE./Category section, you can narrow the scope by choosing specific third-party (3P) types and categories from the dropdown menus.
Note
By default, the option All is selected.

Define the GDC Scope by selecting the following categories and then Save Scope Changes to save your changes:

PEP
Politically Exposed Person with a prominent function that could be abused for laundering illicit funds, corruption, or bribery. (Politically Exposed Persons)

SOE (State-Owned Enterprises)

Human Rights

(Optional) You can exclude specific lists from the GDC hits. To exclude particular lists from screening:

Choose an alphabetical range from the Show Listing Agencies section.

Check the boxes next to the lists you want to exclude.

To bulk update, use options: Check All, Uncheck All, or Invert All.
Changes take effect immediately once a list is excluded with a prompt Updated exclusions.
