Managing task ownership
Only one person can have ownership of a task Part of a workflow that itemizes certain work to be completed.. If you take ownership of a Section, you take ownership of all tasks in the section.
To find a task and control ownership:
- From the Dashboard's left menu or the link at the top of the page, select Workflow A series of tasks generated based on an event or form submission..
- Access your tasks by selecting one of the following:
- Select the My Tasks tab.
- Select the All Workflows/Unclaimed tab then select the take ownership button to move a task to the My Tasks tab. Then, select the My Tasks tab.
You can also control ownership of a task from the workflow outline. Select the three dots on the right of the task name then select Take Ownership or Release Ownership.
To release ownership and return the task to the queue, on the My Tasks tab, select the release ownership button.
Ways to search tasks
You can control the displayed information on the Task or Workflow tabs.
- To display items for a given timeframe, select Filter time period: and choose the time frame.
- In the grid area:
- To display more items, select a value in the Show < > entries dropdown list.
- Select a column header to sort by column.
- Use the Search field A field is a way to input information, often a question. to find a specific item.
