Create question dependencies
You can create dependencies for questions. Based on a user's response to a question, you can display a different follow up questions referred. For example, the question "Does your organization have a security policy in place for data breaches?" can branch based on the users response. If the user responds with Yes, you can add a question for the user to upload their policy. If the user responds with No, you can add a space for an explanation.
You can create question dependencies for the Question Types of Dropdown List and Radio Buttons.
To create dependencies:
- Create the parent question of the Question Type The type of third party, for example, Channel Partner, Vendor, Supplier, or DO NOT ENGAGE. of Dropdown List or Radio Buttons.
- Create each child question.
- Below the Questions Listing section, in the Dependencies section, select Add.
- Select the Parent Question, the answer Value, and the Child Question to display based on the answer.
Once you have the dependencies set up, select the Preview Form A form is a questionnaire to gather information. button to check the result is what you want.
