Delete an analytic job
Delete a running or completed analytic job and its associated job history to remove the job record and any related results such as tables and logs. Use delete when testing analytics so that other users only see valid entries in the Analytic Jobs tab.
If you need to delete a large number of analytic jobs and associated results on a regular basis, you can configure auto-deletion of analytic jobs. For more information, see Auto-delete analytic jobs using Results Cleanup.
Note
To delete an analytic job, you must have Full permission to the folder that contains the analytic.
- In the Server Explorer, select the analytic you want to delete the job for and then from the menu, select Analytics > View Jobs.
- From the list of jobs, select the job or jobs to delete and then click Delete.
Use Ctrl+click to select multiple jobs, or Shift+click to select multiple adjacent jobs.
Note
If no jobs appear in the Analytic Jobs tab, or if the job you are looking for does not appear, select a longer time period in the View History By drop-down list
The selected entries are deleted from the Analytic Jobs tab and associated results are permanently deleted from AX Server.
