Fixed December 2019 Analytics Exchange 14.2.0

Server tables no longer conflict with linked tables In previous versions of Analytics Exchange, importing a server table with the same name as a linked table and choosing not to overwrite the linked table created a problem. A "ghost" server table was created in the background, and could not be deleted, which meant that analytics would continue to run against the ghost table.

This problem has been fixed by preventing the import of a server table in this particular scenario. Server tables can still be imported if you choose to overwrite the linked table, or if their import does not create an overwrite situation.

Note

The fix is not retroactive. It prevents the problem from occurring with tables newly created in Analytics Exchange 14.2 or in any future versions.

Contact Support for help with tables created in earlier versions of Analytics Exchange that have the problem.
