AX administrators can control who has access to the Analytics Exchange client applications and connect to AX Server, as well as what role each user has in the system.
During the initial set up of AX Server, the AX Server Super Admin user must add at least one AX Server administrator account from the AX Server Configuration web application.
Note
After the first administrator account has been created, additional administrators can be added using AX Client.
For more information, see Add an AX Server administrator
When users are added to AX Server they can be assigned to the restricted User role or to the Administrator role.
To be able to log in, users must have an Active Directory or local Windows account, and must also be added to AX Server from AX Client.
