Administration

AX Client administration includes installation and configuration tasks, as well as managing user security for Analytics Exchange.

Installation and configuration

  1. Check the system requirements. For more information, see AX Client requirements.
  2. Install AX Client. For more information, see Installing AX Client.
  3. Configure connection settings, ACL Analytics settings, and the temporary file folder. For more information, see Configuring AX Client.

User security

Managing who can log into Analytics Exchange

To add users, change user role assignments, or delete users from your installation of Analytics Exchange, see Managing users.

Managing application permissions

Application permissions are defined at both the collection level and the folder level. Use permissions to control who can view or edit content in individual collections and folders.
