Administrators can grant, change, or revoke permissions to multiple collections and folders for a single user. Permissions changes are applied as soon as they are saved.

Administrative users have Full permissions to all collections and folders. You cannot select administrative users.
Use Ctrl+click to select multiple collections. The collections are moved to the Collections/Folders column on the right side of the dialog box which lists collections and folders for which you can now configure permissions.

Disabled folder checkboxes indicate folders that inherit permissions from the parent collection. For more information, see Inherited permissions.

The collections the user has permissions for appear in the Collections/Folders column on the right side of the dialog box.
The collections are moved to the Collections column on the left side of the dialog box, which lists collections for which the user does not have permissions.
Permissions for any child folder with Inherit collection permissions selected are automatically deselected.
