Sign-in email address template
You can use this template to communicate any upgraded sign-in experiences with directors, executives, and other board members.
Sign in to Diligent Boards with your email address
Starting August 5th, 2024 we are transitioning from usernames to email addresses to sign in. This change is intended to improve usability, allow for easier password resets, and enhance security.
What to expect
From August 5th, 2024, if you are not yet signing in with your email address, the next time you sign in, you will be prompted to confirm your choice of email address for future logins.
This process should only take a few minutes, especially since most of you already have an email address on file for notifications. You will simply need to select an email address from the options listed or enter a new email as required. This will serve as your username for all future sign-ins.
You may skip this step up to three times before it becomes mandatory, so if you are currently going through a board cycle, you can bypass this step temporarily to access your materials. Your password remains the same.
If you are already using your email address to sign in, you will not be affected by this change.
Access to board materials and notifications
This update will not affect your committee membership, access to board materials, or any other permissions. Your current notification email settings will also remain unchanged. You can continue to manage security and content notifications separately through the Account Management hub by selecting the Account options icon located at the top right of the screen after signing in.
